The Vibe:The old city, seen from directly above it.

Raised in 1749 by Maharaja Ishwari Singh to mark a military victory, this seven-storey minaret is among the tallest historic structures in the walled city. It stands just off Tripolia Bazaar.
The climb is a slow spiral away from bazaar noise. At the top, wind and a flat rooftop panorama replace the crowded street below.

  • Built in 1749 to commemorate Ishwari Singh's victory, and known locally as Sargasuli
  • One of the tallest historic structures inside the Jaipur walled city
  • Offers one of the few full 360-degree city views from within the old town
  • Rated 4.5 across more than 7,000 Google reviews

  • Its place in the Ishwari Singh succession story, largely unsignposted - Hidden Gem
  • A quiet interior compared with the monuments a few streets away
