The Vibe:Geometry, cut in stone and repeated downward.

Built in the sixteenth century below Amer, this stepwell supplied water to the village and served as a cool gathering place in summer. It is one of the best preserved of the small kunds around Jaipur.
Sound drops away as the walls step down towards green water. Criss-crossing staircases pull the eye into a pattern that changes with every angle.

  • A sixteenth-century stepwell built to serve the village below Amer Fort
  • Its crossing staircases and octagonal core are among the most photographed geometry in Rajasthan
  • Widely described by visitors as a quiet alternative to the Amer crowds
  • Rated 4.4 across more than 6,000 Google reviews
