The Vibe:Rajasthan's oldest museum, best seen lit up.
Opened in 1887 and designed by Samuel Swinton Jacob, this is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. Its Indo-Saracenic form was intended to fuse European civic architecture with Rajput and Mughal detail.
Cool stone halls hold glass cases in long rows, with pigeons audible in the courtyards. After dark the exterior turns amber against the garden.
