Operating Hours:Monday - Sunday: 06:00 - 20:30
The Vibe:Durga at peace, in a white hillside temple.
Founded after the original shrine at Quelossim was destroyed, this Maratha-era complex was completed in 1738 at the foot of Kavlem village. Its deity is Durga in her peaceful form.
A white facade and a lamp tower rise against wooded hills. Bells and the smell of oil lamps carry through a courtyard that stays busy from early morning.
