GOA : Shri Mangueshi Temple
Operating Hours:Monday - Sunday: 05:30 - 21:30
The Vibe:Goa's best-known temple, and its tallest lamp tower.
The deity was carried inland from Kushasthali during Portuguese rule and rehoused at Priol. The present complex, built under Maratha patronage, is now the most visited Hindu temple in Goa.
A seven-storey lamp tower stands white against the courtyard. Bells, drums and the smell of camphor run through the hall from early morning until late.
