Most people come to Goa for the beaches, and stay for everything the beach brochures leave out.
We'd build your trip around three things. The coast first: Calangute for the full North Goa buzz, Arambol for a bohemian edge. Then the heritage that sets Goa apart from every other Indian beach state: 450 years of Portuguese rule, still visible in the white church stairway above Panjim . And the food, Konkan spice meeting Lisbon technique, best tasted at dawn with a Majorda baker .
North Goa is louder, South Goa is slower, and Panjim sits in between. Most trips work best split across two of them.
Best for couples, friends and slow travellers who want beach days with real substance.
