Set in the Aravalli hills near Alwar, this reserve lost its entire tiger population in the mid-2000s and was repopulated by relocation. It is now one of India's notable conservation recovery stories.
Rocky ridges and dry deciduous forest open into wide grassland patches. Late afternoon turns the hillsides gold before the gates close.
