Named for the elephant gate at the old city wall, this is Udaipur's handicraft trade centre. Miniature painting, textiles, leather and metalwork are sold here, much of it made in workshops in the same lanes.
Narrow lanes stacked to the ceiling with fabric, brass and paintings, and shopkeepers calling from both sides. Two-wheelers push through the middle of it all.
