SkyWaltz Hot Air Balloon Safari
Ballooning gives Rajasthan a perspective no fort viewpoint matches. SkyWaltz flies at first light over the countryside around Samode Palace and village, drifting above fields, hamlets and hilltop structures in the Aravallis. The launch point shifts daily, chosen by the pilot on the morning according to wind. The whole outing runs about three and a half hours from hotel pickup, with roughly an hour aloft. - SkyWaltz operates India's licensed commercial balloon fleet, flying under civil aviation approval rather than as an informal operation. - Baskets carry up to sixteen passengers, and the flight is shared rather than private. - Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are served at the launch site before the burners fire. - The Samode flying area sits well north of Jaipur and away from the city's built-up edge.
