Know Before You Go

- Tram/Metro & Bus: Take the Dubai Tram to “Jumeirah Beach Residences 1” (interchange with Red Line Metro), or catch an RTA bus along Sheikh Zayed Road. From the tram station it’s a brief walk to the beach.
- Car/Parking: Ample paid parking is at The Beach Mall and nearby lots. Street parking along JBR Walk is limited and fills quickly on weekends.
- Beach Access: Public gates open to the beachfront walkway near The Beach Mall. Facilities like showers and toilets are located at the main entrance, with lifeguards patrolling during the day.
- Tip: The beach is open 24/7, but facilities and lifeguards are active mainly at sunrise–sunset. Plan visits in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat and crowds.

Getting There & Entrances

- Washrooms/lockers/ATMs/cafés: Public toilets and showers by the main entrance; coin lockers for rent. ATMs and dozens of cafés/restaurants are located inside The Beach Mall.
- Baby care/prayer/relaxation: Baby-changing facilities and a prayer room are provided in The Beach Mall. The Sea Breeze beach club rents daybeds, cabanas and loungers for relaxation.
- Notable missing or unexpected: No free umbrellas or beach chairs on the public sand; most seating and shade are rented. Minimal natural shade means you should bring a hat or umbrella.
