Held on Treasure Island (in the middle of the bay), this fun workshop teaches you to craft cocktails using locally distilled spirits. A skilled mixologist will guide you step by step as you mix and muddle your own drinks, explaining the ingredients and techniques. You’ll also get to taste the base spirits (like whiskey or other liquors) and learn a bit about their distilling process and the city’s Prohibition history. With the SF skyline as your backdrop and a delicious cocktail in hand, you’ll enjoy a uniquely San Francisco experience that’s part class and part happy hour.

- Step into the storied Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery, a landmark art deco venue on Treasure Island with sweeping Bay views of San Francisco, The Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
- Masterclass participants will enjoy an interactive cocktail making experience where you will learn tips and tricks of the trade and how to make three delicious cocktails: - The Gold Fashioned - Whiskey Sour - Pan Am Clipper Paper Plane
- While crafting your cocktails, enjoy a guided tasting of Gold Bar Whiskey's award-winning whiskies and bourbons - crafted with California’s adventurous spirit and double-casked in Napa Valley wine barrels.
- Participants leave with beautiful recipe cards to recreate your favorite cocktails at home, a thoughtfully-designed Gold Bar Distillery t-shirt, and unforgettable memories of San Francisco’s golden era.
- The entire session is held at the Gold Bar Distillery, San Francisco's #1 Distillery and Tasting Room. The Distillery is located in the former Pan Am Airport on the historic Treasure Island.
- A full food menu is also available with delicious bites such as crab and lobster corndogs, steamed soup dumplings and the best grilled cheese and tomato soup you will ever have!
