- Penguin Beach feeds run at 11.30 am and 2.30 pm daily; arrive 10 minutes before.
- The site covers 14 hectares; allow four hours minimum for a family visit.
- Strollers are allowed but some enclosures have narrow walkways.
- Rain days see thinner crowds and closer animal viewing.
- Cafes get busy from 12.30 pm; pack a packed lunch for the picnic lawns.
