Spread across the Nahargarh forest on the Delhi highway north of the city, this park houses rescued and captive-bred wildlife in large enclosures. It replaced the old city zoo as Jaipur's main animal facility.
Dry scrub and rocky ground stretch between widely spaced enclosures. Peafowl call constantly across a site that is quieter than its visitor numbers suggest.
