Diners eat inside a restored vintage steam engine standing in the grounds of Rambagh Palace, a setting few Jaipur restaurants can match. The kitchen works to a Mediterranean and Italian brief, with wood-fired pizza at the centre. An outdoor deck and lounge bar extend the space. Hours run from midday to late, covering both lunch and evening drinks.

Marble arches and carved stonework set the tone in this all-day dining room at Rambagh Palace. The menu spans Indian, Continental and Chinese, and the kitchen accommodates requests off-menu. Breakfast service opens at seven, and the room continues through to a late dinner. A terrace section overlooks the palace gardens and is used for afternoon tea.

Chinese cooking is the single focus here, inside the InterContinental at Sitapura on the southern edge of the city. The menu is deliberately short rather than sprawling, with dim sum and stone-pot rice among the mainstays. The room is quiet and low-lit. Most diners travel out from central Jaipur, so allow driving time either way.

The all-day restaurant at Jaipur Marriott near Jawahar Circle is built around buffet service, with live counters for eggs, dosa, noodles and paratha. Breakfast opens at 6:30 and dinner runs to 11:30, which makes it useful for early departures and late arrivals. A la carte ordering is available alongside the spread.

Third-floor dining on MI Road covering Chinese, Thai and Japanese cooking, with indoor and open-air seating for around 50 to 80 guests. Vegan items are marked on the menu, which is unusual for the city. Portion sizes are generous and the kitchen takes off-menu requests. The central location suits a break between bazaar visits.
