Chokhi Dhani recreates a Rajasthani village on Tonk Road, twelve miles south of the city. Evenings there run on folk dance, puppetry, camel rides and craft stalls, ending in a seated thali dinner. This private booking covers admission, a three-course meal and door-to-door transfers, which matter given the distance. Around two hours are spent inside.<br/>
- Reaching Chokhi Dhani by public bus can take over two hours each way, so included transport changes the shape of the evening.
- The thali is served in the traditional manner, with attendants refilling until you signal to stop.
- Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus are offered, which is unusual for a venue of this kind.
- Performances run continuously across the site rather than to a fixed schedule, so arriving early gives more time.
