GOA : Butterfly Beach
The Vibe:A cove you can only reach by boat.
A small cove between Palolem and Agonda, cut off from the road and backed by forest. Reaching it is the point; almost nobody stays long.
Boats pull onto coarse sand between rock walls, and the engine noise stops. Forest runs to the shoreline and there is no built structure at all.
- Reachable only by boat or a forest trail, with no road access
- Named for the butterflies that gather in the surrounding forest
- Commonly combined with dolphin-spotting trips from Palolem
- Consistently listed among Goa's more secluded beaches
Fit For
- 💕 Couples: "A cove with no shacks, no crowds and no road."
- 📸 Photographers: "Forest meeting sand with nothing built in frame."
- 🧳 Solo: "Easy to add to a Palolem boat trip."
Highlights
- The cove itself, entirely undeveloped and backed by forest
