Introduction

The Mughal Gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan, now renamed Amrit Udyan, are a blend of Mughal and English landscaping styles. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, these gardens are an integral part of the Presidential Estate. Open to the public during Udyanotsav in February and March, the gardens feature an array of beautiful flowers, fountains, and manicured lawns. This attraction is celebrated for its meticulously planned sections like the Rectangular Garden, Long Garden, and Circular Garden, which highlight the horticultural diversity of India.

Not To Be Missed

  • Rose Garden: Showcasing over 250 varieties of roses, it is the highlight during the blooming season.
  • Herbal Garden: Located within the premises, it features a variety of medicinal plants.
  • Musical Fountain: Operational during the evenings, offering a delightful visual and auditory experience.
