Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Ibu Mangku

Operating since the mid-1960s, this warung serves a single dish: Balinese nasi ayam (chicken rice). Recognised in Frommer's and Travel + Leisure as Ubud's top local chicken rice spot. The original Kedewatan outlet occupies a traditional Balinese compound with garden pavilions and a fish pond. A second branch operates in Seminyak on Jalan Petitenget.

The interior draws from the Majapahit empire, with teak ceilings and red-brick framing around floor-to-ceiling reef tanks.

Established in 2011, this cafe pioneered specialty Australian-style coffee in Bali. Featured in Time Out Bali as a top coffee destination. The flagship Seminyak outlet is tucked in a narrow lane off Jalan Kayu Aya, with dark timber interiors, exposed brick and vintage decor. The brand now roasts its own beans locally and operates multiple outlets across Bali.
