Tips

The hike to Sekumpul involves 300+ steep steps each way. Wear proper hiking shoes or sturdy sandals with good grip.
Bring a waterproof bag or dry bag for your phone and valuables. Spray from the falls reaches the viewing area.
Pack a change of clothes if you plan to swim at the base of the waterfall. There are basic changing areas near the trailhead.
The drive from southern Bali to Sekumpul takes 2.5–3 hours each way. Expect a long but scenic day.
